Christopher "Chris" Stein (born January 5, 1950) is co-founder and guitarist in the New Wave band, Blondie.

"Rapture" was written by Stein and Debbie Harry and was released in January 1981 from the band's album Autoamerican. The song went on to reach number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, number one on the U.S. Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, number 4 in Australia, and number five in the UK singles chart.
