Douglas Seann Robb (born January 2, 1975, in Agoura Hills, California), commonly referred to simply as Doug Robb, is an American musician and lead singer of rock band Hoobastank.
"The Reason" is the 2004 hit single by the modern rock band Hoobastank, off their album The Reason. The song is Hoobastank's most commercially successful single, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and #1 on the Modern Rock Tracks. In addition, it topped the singles charts in both Mexico and Italy. It was nominated for the Song of the Year on the 47th Grammy Awards. It was also a transatlantic hit, peaking at #12 in the United Kingdom.
