George Duke (born 12 January 1946 in San Rafael, California) is a multi-faceted American musician, known as a keyboard pioneer, composer, singer and producer in both jazz and popular mainstream musical genres. He has worked with numerous acclaimed artists as arranger, music director, writer and co-writer, record producer and professor of music.
"Sweet Baby" was a single release in 1981 and reached #19 on the Billboard Top 40. The song is included in the Billboard Year-End Hot 100 singles of 1981 and the list of 1980s one-hit wonders in the United States (1981).
