Matthew William Sorum (born November 19, 1960) is an American rock drummer and percussionist. Sorum is most famous for his 7-year stint in Guns N' Roses (1990–1997) and supergroup Velvet Revolver (2002–present).
"November Rain" is a song by American rock band Guns N' Roses, written by lead singer Axl Rose and released as a single in June 1992. It appears on the album Use Your Illusion I. The music video for this song was also released in 1992, and won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Cinematography. It features a sweeping orchestral backing and is one of Guns N' Roses' longest songs. "November Rain" reached #3 in the Billboard Singles Charts.
