Rose McDowall (born 21 October 1959, in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish musician, most notably as a vocalist in the pop band Strawberry Switchblade.
"Since Yesterday" was Strawberry Switchblade's second single released in late 1984. Having been given a large marketing push over the festive period, it became a UK top ten hit in early 1985 peaking at number 5, and also met with success in Europe and Japan.
