Benjamin Orr (September 8, 1947 – October 3, 2000) was an American rock musician best known as the bassist and vocalist for the Boston based rock band, The Cars.
Orr provided lead vocals for the song "Drive", the third single from The Cars' 1984 album Heartbeat City, and their biggest international hit. It was written by Ric Ocasek and produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange with the band.
